Q: Can you talk about your creative process and how you manage to make all these projects?All of my projects are Interconnected as Homage to the Infinite Nature Of True Reality, much like Indra's Net.In terms of Creation, I am taking care of a Spiritual Forest. Some days, I water the Seeds of Music. Other days, I trim the Bushes of Poetry.I do not give myself any unnatural deadlines. I do not care for any external agenda. I Respect The Cosmic Cycles Of Time And Honor The Natural Rhythms Of Creation.All of my multidisciplinary creative works are indeed made by myself on my own from my Soul, in collaboration with the Divine, the Earth, the Ancestors, and my community of all-human collaborators.I have been Creating and Learning all my Life. As a kid, I did visual art, studied astronomy and meteorology and Earth science, and played several musical instruments. At age eleven, I started writing fictional stories. At age fourteen, I began building my own philosophy, writing epic spiritual nonfiction sagas, studying world religions, and learning about the history and cultures of this world throughout time. At age sixteen, I began studying psychology through introspection, spiritual meditations, community conversations, and storytelling. At age seventeen, I taught myself story structure. In the next few years, I spent copious amount of time honing my writing and narration skills. Later on, I taught myself video, audio, design, and other vital skills needed to give form to my Oeuvre. In my early twenties, I experimented with various distribution methods and taught myself how to release my projects on my own terms. Recently, I am rekindling my love for math and Earth science. I am also expanding my knowledge in biology, physics, and the social sciences while continuing to sharpen my creative skills. I am exhilarated to be a lifelong learner across space, time, and worlds.I live a traditional spiritual hermit lifestyle with my inner circle that embodies the Middle Way, in a cold place that is far away from the listless machine of modernity, in Sacred Solitude With The Divine, Co-Creating With Nature And Honoring The Earth.My projects are my children. I let them gestate, birth them, clothe them, care for them as a mother, then I let them Journey With The Earth. I am proud of my children, and I am proud of my Self. It Is my Absolute Honor To Co-Create With Divine Nature.Q: Why do you release your art?I Release my Oeuvre as Offerings To The Divine, as Communion With The Abundance Of The Earth, as Homage to the Ancestors, as Natural Completion to Each Creation Cycle of the Soul's Evolution, as Continuation of True Divine Nature. For me, release is the act of letting my Oeuvre move so the Creative Works can journey with Heaven And Earth across space, time, and worlds. My role for each project ends at the moment of release. All Of my Projects Are Divinely Protected By Heaven And Earth For Eternity, as am I and all of my brilliant loved ones.I also Release my Oeuvre to stand up for my younger self, to take up rightful Natural Space for my Being, to exist out loud, to Amplify The Soul Frequency Of Divine Nature, to Honor The Life in All of my Art, to Speak The Truth, to help Rectify unnatural imbalances and Restore Natural Equilibrium, to Celebrate Harmony With True Reality.I Honor Natural Equilibrium. If something is not listed on my website/blog, then it has nothing to do with me and my work.I credit all of my creative collaborators on my blog. If someone claims to have worked with me, but I do not acknowledge them on my blog or in my projects that are listed on my website, then they are not and will never be a part of anything that I am doing. I do not care for the irrelevant. I reject the irrelevant.Q: Are your books for teenagers and children?I do have several future projects for teenagers and children, but the vast majority of my books are not written with teenagers and children in mind. Unless it is clearly stated by me that a book is young adult or middle grade, I do not recommend that book to teenagers or children.I do not sugarcoat my observations on society. Even so, I do include content advisory for each book that can be found inside each book and on my blog.Do not attempt to politicize my inherently apolitical art for any K-12 school library campaign in the US. My works and I do not endorse any politics. I am not responsible for the regurgitations and internal dysfunction of those who conflate reductive identity politics with a personality.Q: What is your ethos for writing love stories?When it comes to love stories, I write about love shared between various people whether it be familial love between a parent and a child, romantic love between partners, platonic love between best friends, Self-Love for one's inner child, personal love for hobbies, heartfelt love for the Earth, soulful love for the Divine, respectful love for the Ancestors, empathic love for All Wondrous Creatures Big And Small, transcendent love for one's artistic projects, and all other vibrant forms of brilliant love.When it comes to romantic love stories, I will never write any explicit scenes in detail. The most I will go is kiss-then-fade-to-black. All imagery of physical intimacy are clothed in loving, protective, consensual metaphors. I believe sex is sacred, safe, intimate, loving, always consensual, joyous, non-transactional, genuine, candid, and private between long-term committed loyal partners who love and respect each other.Even though I sometimes write romantic love stories, I am not a romance author. Do not ever associate me with the romance genre.Q: Are your books considered Asian-American literature?I am Chinese. While I do appreciate my American friends from all walks of life, I do not consider myself an American. A lot of my literary works explore the Chinese world from both the mainlander's perspective and the Chinese Diaspora's perspective. I would not mind calling some of the latter Asian-American literature.Always remember to keep my books out of performative diversity lists that are just unsolicited and irrelevant attempts at virtue-signaling.Q: Is there anything else that should be known about your works?I make art, not propaganda.I may examine certain political frameworks every now and then in some of my projects, but the purpose of my Oeuvre is never political. I would know since I made it. Do not listen to unsolicited and irrelevant attempts at politicizing my apolitical art.My Oeuvre and I do not and will never endorse any political campaign at any time past, present, or future. My works and I reject all unsolicited and unauthorized attempts at political co-optation. All co-optation attempts will always be futile, rejected, and irrelevant.Not all art is inherently political. I only write in Simplified Chinese to honor creative works that are written in Simplified Chinese.Q: Are there other ways to support you?Do not ever idolize me. I reject all forms of idolatry.Do not recommend, review, or talk about my projects on social media or in any public online forum. If you wish to discuss the art or the research, do so in private and offline with people you trust, and ask them not to share the art or the research on social media or in any public online forum.
